AT31 Chrysocolla after Hemimorphite - 79 Mine, Hayden, Gila County, Arizona $20; Bright blue chrysocolla has replaced the hemimorphite crystals on this attractive specimen. The contrast of the blue against the dark matrix really sets the pseudomorphs off. 2.4 x 1.8 x 1.8 Reserved
AT32 Malachite after Copper - Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona $15; Arborescent copper crystals have altered to malachite. I'm not sure if the copper has been totally replaced or if this is a surface alteration. This doesn't have much "heft" due to the airy nature of the original copper crystallization, so it's hard to judge about the extent of replacement. 1.8 x 1.8 x 1.3
AT33 Allophane after Malachite after Azurite - Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona $75; This double pseudomorph is "off the charts" for a Bisbee rarity. I've never seen, heard of, nor could find any reference of this oddity. This specimen should yield major rarity points in a competitive thumbnail display. 1.6 x .7 x .7 Reserved
AT34 Chrysocolla after Hemimorphite - 79 Mine, Hayden, Gila County, Arizona $30; The blue/green chrysocolla is slightly gemmy giving this pseudomorph an interesting waxy look. The original hemimorphite crystals were nicely sprayed, so this is very aesthetic. 1.6 x 1.4 x 1.3 Reserved
AT35 Azurite with Malachite after Cuprite - Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona $50; Azurite crystals, that show some electric blue internal reflections under strong light, play host to octahedral cuprite crystals which mostly have pseudomorphed to malachite. I say "mostly" because some have not. I can't decide if the non-malachite cuprites just have an odd look because of partial dissolution while in fluid, or if these have actually been pseudomorphed by native copper. In either case this is a classic Bisbee specimen, and the cuprite to malachite pseudomorphs (that are a bit larger than the norm) just scream "Copper Queen Mine"! 2 x 2 x 1.4 Reserved
AT36 Quartz after Wulfenite - Finch Mine, Hayden, Gila County, Arizona $15; This mine, also known as the Barking Spider Mine, is famous for these pseudomorphs. This one features some bright red vanadinite crystals that were also covered with quartz, giving the specimen a great shot of color. 2.7 x 2.2 x 1.4 Reserved
