B1 Rhodochrosite & Pyrite - Emma Mine, Butte, Silver Bow County, Montana $125; Unusual for Butte, the rhodochrosite crystals form rosettes on this cabinet specimen. Small pyrite crystals are scattered across the surface, and there's even some quartz crystals on the reverse side. There's a small contact area on the bottom right of the specimen, but as this naturally sits I don't think it detracts from the overall aesthetics or displayability. Size: 8.5 x 5.5 x 5 Reserved
B2 Rhodochrosite & Pyrite - Emma Mine, Butte, Silver Bow County, Montana $35; Small pyrite crystals are liberally spread across the rhodochrosite crystals, which are stacked almost pagoda-like. There is a small ding on the bottom left where the rhodochrosite looks pinker than on the rest of the specimen. Size: 4.6 x 3.5 x 2 Reserved
B3 Rhodochrosite & Pyrite - Emma Mine, Butte, Silver Bow County, Montana $20; This is simply a good "toenail" sized rhodo from Butte. Size: 3.7 x 2 x 1.5
B4 Digenite(?), Pyrite, Bornite & Quartz - Stewart Mine, Butte, Silver Bow County, Montana $30; This specimen has several iridescent bornite coated pyrite crystals that contrast well with the white quartz crystals. As is very typical of these specimens some of the quartz crystals are damaged. Although I haven't had it verified through testing there is also a fair amount of what I think is digenite present. It's in the form of primary crystals as well as casts after another mineral. For comparison see some other photos of Butte digenites (especially the last specimen) at: www.mineralatlas.com/mineral%20photos/D/digenitecp.htm Size: 5 x 3.5 x 1.3
B5 Pyrite, Bornite & Quartz - Stewart Mine, Butte, Silver Bow County, Montana $25; A thin bornite coating gives the pyrite crystals a neat iridescence that's brighter and much better looking in person versus the photos. As with the previous specimen, some of the quartz crystals are incomplete. Size: 3.5 x 3.2 x 1.5
B6 Digenite(?), Pyrite, Bornite & Quartz - Stewart Mine, Butte, Silver Bow County, Montana $30; This is very similar to specimen B4, but the mineral that I think is digenite has formed as long striated overgrowths on a 1.5 cm wide pyrite crystal instead of as pseudomorphic casts. Size: 4.5 x 4 x 2
